"How do I know, what am I good at????"
In Todays world of cut throat competition where everyone is good, one question that comes across our minds:
“How can I be different, and stand out from the crowd?”
And career planning starts quite early now right from the time you are just about to be out of school.
My parents thought that being academically good is the only way to be recognized and stand out from the crowd. But now the times have changed one has to be like an all rounder. So how do u know that and how do you put your child in the right professional course.
It is important to be aware of your Childs potentials and tab them in right direction at a very young age.
But important thing to remember:
1. Choose a career which compliments with his/her interest
2. Remember everyone can't be an opening batsman, so never rush.
3. Participate and guide them in their decisions, but let them decide what is best for them on their own.
“Every individual is a diamond, they will shine if u cut and polish them right .Then if a beam of light falls on them, u see a rainbow.”

Harsha

In today's fast-paced world of growing opportunities, it is important to make CHOICES - right ones at the right time !
A career today need not be just a "job" of the yesteryears. It has to be a well informed decision, based on an assessment of oneself, one's skills and interests and the opportunities that choice offers. Almost all of us have something that we are very good at. This "something" often varies from person to person. While some of us know what that "something" is, many of us are floundering in an effort to know ourselves and make a good career decision.
This is when we often follow the rest. We assume it is safe to tread the beaten and proven path, which is not necessarily applicable to all. This stems from lack of information on some fronts, like :
Your personality
Your skills and interests
Careers that suit your skills and interests
Opportunities and growth prospects of various career options
At Disha Career Information and Guidance, we try to help you understand the above gaps you may encounter - before deciding upon a suitable career option. It is important that the choice you ultimately make is an informed choice.
